The Chinese class consists of the following courses: Standard Chinese (标准中文), Yes-Chinese (朗朗中文) and Huanying (欢迎).
Standard Chinese is compiled by China Curriculum and Teaching Materials Research Institute and mainly taken by the students with Chinese background to improve their fluency and proficiency of listening, speaking, reading and writing Chinese.
Yes-Chinese is a course of learning Chinese as a Second Language (CLS). It focuses on practical Chinese in life. The people without any Chinese background can take this course.
Huanying is the first comprehensive secondary school series written by experienced teachers in North American schools. It is specifically for the North American classroom. Huanying（欢迎）means "welcome" in Chinese, which will take students to the exciting world of Chinese language and culture.
